This is my design work in UNSW Foundation. Red and blue and white and black provide strong contrast and dynamic visual impact. The letter “J” and “O” have been enlarged, cropped, rotated and overlapped to represent four design principles – balance, ratio, focus and rhymes, and create a striking visual illusion. Curved lines unify the four compositions and provide a harmony.
This is one of Tadao Ando’s works. It is located in Osaka. Tadao Ando makes use of the light which makes a strong contrast to the shade in this building. In addition, there is no any extra decoration. The surface wall is made by silky, smooth concrete. This simple style is what I like and also make me want to be architect.
This picture is taken at the evening in Australia. The sky here does not have much cloud. There is a strong contrast between light and shade. The sky is colourful and clear that allow me to see many stars. This sense is the most beautiful that I experienced in Australia.
