This sculpture was made by Piccinini. The name is Life cycle. In this artwork, she combined the ideas of industrail manufacture, animal reproduction and nature to show the ethos of industrial style. In addition, she is exploring of what is nature in the didital age.The sculpture is made from the real car's wheel and tyre, and the wood for maling upper part. The upper part is made like an organic shape and painted the grey colour which is similar to the tyre's one for the connection between two different materials. Although the wheel is stable here, the upper part's organic shape could give a visual effect that the wheel seems alive.
